Summary

this is a replica of the impeller housing of my sand filter pump. In my case, this housing cracked and extremely much water leaked during operation.

Now with the replica I have no more problems.

The sealing ring, which is on the original part at the top of the flange, must be reused (or you buy a new one --> but the old one should be measured beforehand to be able to determine the new one exactly). The screws are also still used.

I used threaded sleeves for melting and melted them into the four holes. Thread size M5 is the correct one. Pay attention to tight fit, because a firm connection between pump and housing must be realized.

My recommendation is to print the housing with ASA/ABS, which is very weather and chlorine resistant.

Also I recommend to define and adjust (take into account) the shrinkage compensation before the actual printing.
