I made an exception for this one since it's a remix.
I've been using PurchenZuPoden's Gen 2 Universal Spool Holder for a couple years now and always thought the nut was a little on the over engineered side. (Sorry.) I always just spun it on and off rather than using the cam lock.
Mine was starting to fall apart - one of the screw holes had stripped out and another was on it's way. I liked the size of spool it could accommodate though, so didn't really want to go to the Gen 1.
So, here's the result of a hack job on the Gen 2 spindle.

Any layer height will work, I just use .28 because it's faster and looks aren't that important to me on a functional part.
I liked the two tone effect I had from my old broken one, so I did a color change at around 3mm. (OK, I guess looks matter a little bit.)
Post-Printing
Nothing!
Just spin it on and go.
