Summary

A simple mount for 7mm motors that I designed in Fusion 360 to make the installation of the motors in my current project somewhat easier.

The base has 1,4mm dia. hole for M1.6 threading and should be drilled out with a 1.4mm drill bit before tapping for the M1.6 screw.

The top part has 1.6 dia. for the screws to passthrough, but I had to open them up to 1.7mm dia. for a better fit.

Feel free to modify and adjust to fit your specific needs.

Post-Printing

A little bit of sanding helps and opening up the holes to the proper diameter makes assembly easier.

How I Designed This

I made another attempt at using Fusion 360 again and it went pretty well, sort of.

The base was done within a few minutes, including a modification to the diameter of the holes.

Yeah,... the top took over an hour to complete. Mainly becauase I complicated things way too much while sketching and getting more frustrasted as time passed. Once I removed my head from my third point of contact,... it was finished even quicker than the base.
