Summary

Just a simple crate to hold four 1 lb propane tanks. Fits any LP gas tanks measuring 100mm or less in diameter. Provides a stable base for four tanks so they do not fall over or roll away in winds or when in boats/vehicles.

I use mine on a boat for LP powered heaters or grills. Storing cylindrical items on a boat is never easy because they tend to roll about. This is dangerous because they can be pierced or just cause damage around them due to their weight.

Because of the marine/outdoor storage, I printed out of ASA using 2 walls and 10% infill. A PEI plate makes a nice textured “grip” bottom as well.

Notes:
2 walls, 10% infill with 3 top and bottom layers proves very solid for this design. Using a textured PEI plate adds a gripped surface to the bottom.
