Summary

It was much harder than I expected to find a life preserver ring design for my keys at work; so I designed my own and figured I would share. They have held up to weeks of daily use so far.

I made it in TinkerCAD a bit sloppily but it accomplished what I wanted. It's a bit low poly since TinkerCAD doesn't let you improve the number of facets on the torus shape so it ends up being a stylized look.

The strap details are flush with the bottom so it can print without supports. That means there is a front and back but I preserved as much of the shape as possible to still look natural.

It scales well for different needs. 100% is quite large at 2in.

This is for decoration/key identification only. It will not stop your keys from sinking.
