Summary

This is for testers only who are testing a false floor box concept for the Original Prusa Enclosure Mesh Left Side Box to accommodate the wiring bundle for the xLCD. This has NOT BEEN TEST PRINTED. Please do not print unless you're willing to beta test this model.

This is a work in progress and has not been test printed. The modifiers will likely only work in PrusaSlicer; they will probably end up appearing as solid in other slicer software. I wasn't able to export usable stl files for this reason.

The print contains four parts. The side box without a floor (it's own file due to the color changes), the false floor, the floor supports (6) and the dowels (6). If you change the length of the floor supports (which are currently set at 15mm) then make sure you adjust the dowels to fit inside the holes in the false floor as well as the floor supports. I don't know how snug the false floor will be once inside the side box, but since it will be up against the mesh, it should fit.

Regarding the cylinders on the side box. The smaller cylinder creates a negative space for the xLCD wiring to pass through. This is my best guess at the angle and size. The larger cylinder modifies the area around the hole created by the smaller cylinder to make the area solid instead of mesh. You will want organic supports turned on for that part of the print.
