Summary
This filament spool holder is designed for easy removal of the lever/beam, such as for traveling. Simply slide it up to remove. Without the lever sticking out, it's easier to pack.
The lever allows two bearings but I found it worked best with one bearing, on the inside. The spool aligns well with the extruder.
Instruction:
- First inside the small piece by the extruder, main.stl
- Insert the bracket beam (beam.stl) from the back of the printer, secured by the item no.1 above (the 2nd camera picture)
- Assemble the lever with bearing piece, hanger.stl and bearing rod.stl.
It works better with only one bearing, on the inside. - The item no.3 can now be slided in an dout.
