On my slicer I used the infill option of concentric. (I'm not sure if any other slicer has that option but mine did and it basically hollows out the model so your using less material and it takes less time too. The piece shouldn't be fragile even with these print conditions so it could probably handle the stresses of a regular Lego Beam. If you need to make it stronger for whatever reason I would recommend changing the concentric infill layout to a grid and increasing the infill density as you'd see fit.)
