Summary

My Insteon 2635 on/off module was several years old. It was installed in my garage which is without temperature control. I grabbed it to pull it out of its socket, and its enclosure shattered in my hand. This project is a replacement enclosure. It happens to fit the shattered remains of my Insteon module. It probably won't fit yours without some customization.

PLA is NOT recommended because it softens at lower temperatures.

I used PETG. The odd colors in the photo are because I used scrap ends of filament spools.

From the broken original enclosure, harvest these parts:

the LED lens. It is very small. Use a small blade screw driver to push it from the outside of the old enclosure and it should pop loose.
The four flat head screws that hold the old closure to the old shell.
The two round head screws that hold the existing spacer to the PCB.

Installing the lens in the printed shell was a bit tricky, mostly because the lens is so small. I used a hobby knife to scrape all the edges of the lens hole, which was required to get it to slide in. I did not need to glue it in place as friction holds it well enough.
