Summary

I made my original model of the HMS Canopus a long time ago, so I decided it would be appropriate to revisit the ship. The new model has a waterline, and a much more accurate hull. It also has more deck details and looks better overall. It's designed for printing with very minimal supports, as such the guns are thicker and the details are optimized.

The Canopus was used for reference as the Thunderchild in Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds. It was launched in 1897, a year before the original novel was written. As such, it is the ship I imagine when thinking of the HMS Thunderchild.
