Summary

A remix of the 16mm Diesel Loco from arockstone. Scaled up to 45mm Gauge/G Scale (~1/22.5) and modified to take LGB pickups and a cheap motor to run on LGB track under power from the rails. Check out the video here https://youtu.be/3qHomxPH6lE

A full print requires:

4 x handrails
1 x front grill
1 x cab roof
1 x frame sides
1 x cab sides
2 x coupling pins
2 x coupling hooks
1 x chassis
1 x hood sides
1 x exhaust
1 x hood sides
1 x engine part holders - these go inside the hood
1 x engine parts - these go inside the engine part holders
1 x hood front and top
1 x controls
1 x window frames - these hold the clear acrylic
1 x cab seat
1 x rear wheels - these take a 4mm diameter axel which is 50mm long
2 x front wheel - these fit onto the motor

If you discover issues with any of the files then please let me know. I'm pretty new to 3D design so apologies if there are errors.

Some parts require supports, these should be obvious. I printed most parts with 20% infill, but some smaller parts could be printed with 100% infill. I used black PLA for most of the parts, but you could print the window frames, handrails and front grill in white PLA.

To complete this model you'll also need axels, pickups, motor, wires, brass strip, screws, clear acrylic sheet, bearings, rubber bands, glue and paints. Please see video for full details and links.
