I really liked klein_bottle's x-wing, but didn't want to attempt gluing/taping, and wanted something bigger than my 3D printer could print as a complete file. So I Tinkercad'ed this into 4 pieces that float out past their individual borders.

Scale up to fit your printer's build plate/desired size (you can scale quite a bit because these came out tiny for some reason). But make sure to either not scale Z, or scale it separately to your desired height. I left the z at 100%, which is 2mm.

Depending on your build plate, you may want to use the build plate side as the presented side. If not, you may have good luck with the "ironing" setting in your slicer. You can "mirror" the files in your slicer to get the X-wing facing whichever direction you want to hang it.

Update 16 Mar 2023: liquidshrapnel's keen eyes spotted another issue. File 1 (both small and bigger) has now been corrected as well.

Update 8 Mar 2023:

Corrected an issue in file 3 which was identified by liquidshrapnel (thank you for the heads up).

Also added scaled up versions (labeled "...Bigger") so you don't need to do so much scaling in your slicer.
