Summary

Designed and printed a compact, pentagon bin key for the new rubbish and recycling street bins in Glasgow.
The original key is branded “Storm” and is made of aluminium.
I flat share and was concerned that the one key we were given would get lost, replacements seem to be £10 -£12.
The height of the key is 4cm/40mm, small enough to keep on a set of keys without too much bulk.
I printed this with the pentagon shaped opening facing upwards, as the tolerance for the opening is pretty tight and I didn’t want it getting gunked up with support material, which would have been impossible to file or sand in this area.
