Summary

This custom fan shroud is a simplified version of the Micro Swiss Ender-3/CR-10 NG Fan Shroud. I was not happy with the original fan shroud because replacing the nozzle from the heater block was difficult and annoying.

This design exposes the heater block and the nozzle for easier access and modification.
The silicone sock of the heater block has been removed for better display.

This custom fan shroud is suitable for printing PLA, PETG or TPU or other filaments, which require active cooling.

I don't recommend this fan shroud for high warping filament like ABS, ASA, Nylon, etc. because the heat sink cooling fan cools the printed part a little bit from above.

The assembly steps are the same like the original Micro Swiss Ender-3/CR-10 NG Fan Shroud.
