Summary
I’ve incorporated my two favorite camera mounts into one. Magpul QD attachment as well as Peak Design backpack/belt clamp.
This is only in test phase as I would not trust my equipment to a plastic 3D printed mount, however, it appears to be very strong and would surely hold the camera in the Peak Design clamp and also works great for walking around with the wrist strap attached as added security.
I am trying to source a machining shop to CNC this out of aluminum or SS.
Maybe Peak Design sees this and will think about incorporating the QD mount into their standard mount.
