Summary

TOS Communicator

This is a version of the TOS communicator with minimal parts. I realize that there is already great versions of the communicator here. However, this is my take on it. It has a larger and more robust top mesh cover that I think is easier to print in FDM. The cover has a stopping mechanism so as to not swing to far back.

There are two versions of the microphone panel, one with a somewhat larger grille that prints well in FDM and another smaller version for resin print.

In the image with the two communicators side by side, the left one is all FDM while the right one has its leds, speaker and the microphone panel, printed in resin.

The moire is a simple image file, I have uploaded the SVG-file.

Only the mesh cover needs supports in FDM.

Finally, there is a .blend provided.
