The Borchardt C-93 was developed by Hugo Borchardt in 1893. You may know his assistant and then successor Georg Luger for his later design of the Luger Parabellum. The C-93 first introduced the unique toggle 2-piece arm that opened the breech for every subsequent cartridge fired.
