Summary

This is a simple flag to mount on your printers z-axis lead screw. I use this to monitor the motion of the z-axis (particuarly during bed mesh compensation). Of course you could just stick some masking tape on the end of the rod, but this flag is more fun.

You may have to adjust the size depending on your printer's flow calibration - it can be a tight fit.

How I Designed This

I made this in Tinkercad. There is not a lot of tolerance on the inner diameter for an 8mm z-axis so you may want to scale up a bit if the fit is too tight.
