Summary

Based on a thing by knaeckepaul - an H0e / OO9 Zwilling trench railway loco
(Search out Zwillinge loco in Wikipedia. Zwillinge means Twin and this was a class of 0-6-0 tank locomotive of 2ft gauge, designed to be coupled cab to cab to run as articulated 0-6-0+0-6-0 engines with a single crew. The "A" locomotive had a higher cab roof, that overlapped the one on its "B" twin. Some of the pairs were split and used singly. Only one survives, on a plinth at Windhoek Station in Namibia.
This thing is an 0-16.5 model of a "B" locomotive to run on an Electrotren 0-6-0 tank engine mechanism. I said "based on" as the wheel spacing is miles out and the valvegear is not represented but I like the result.
I decided to build just a "B" to run solo but I fail to see where coal was carried so I have assumed that the owners have built it a small tender with no particular prototype.
Should one decide to build a pair I have provided an "A" cab that can be merged into the B design.
I also had to guess about the cab interior.
The Electrotren chassis should fit without any modification and I am drilling through its fixing screw holes to drill and tap the body for M2 screws.
There is enough spare space to allow the tank sides to be lined with 2 layers of 1.7mm lead flashing scrap, scrounged from a neighbour.

The chimney has a hole down through it and into the boiler to allow a rod or tube to be epoxied in to strengthen it. Otherwise it snaps off easily.
Printed as a whole body, right way up, quite a bit of support was needed and I chose "tree" hoping it would be easier to break out.
The print was filled, sanded and primed before spraying with Maunsell's (Southern Rly) olive green. One photograph shows a faded engine that had once been green, and there is a postage stamp showing a green pair.
The tender chassis was made in two halves so that brass top-hat bearings could be fitted
and Dapol disc wagon wheels inserted before the two halves were fixed together .
