Summary

In Archery, we use spotting scopes on tripods. One of my clubmates lost the metal retention-ring on his tripod (Manfrotto 200PL) and therefore lost this 1/4" screw-thing all the time.
A quick design and a replacement was done.
It has the 1/4"-Thread in there. Be sure you print it with horizontal hole expansion set to a tight fit. It needs to go on only once and then it "lives" there and should not come off again.
