Summary

A bracket to fit generic hand guards on the FJR1300A. Due to not having mirrors that come from the handlebar stems on the FJR, many handguards will not fit. So I made a set of my own.
The models are built from scratch using digital calipers as a measuring device on my own FJR1300A 2010 model. Each FJR1300 my vary slightly.
The poles are for the centre support to act as a balancer against the break/clutch levers.
The pole has 2 main settings depending on the rider. The furthest hole I found wasn't quite snug enough. I was going to remove it but decided to keep it for others. The second hole allows for minor adjustements depending on your hand size.

I also added the complete setup, including nuts, washers, and bolts to use if required.

I also used invisible glue for my print bed for adhesion.

How I Designed This

Design process

Design on Tinkercad. Each part is made using specifications for my bike so yours may vary slightly.

The main bracket has a threaded hole. I've found the bolt does fit, but needs some "encouragement" for the first fitting. Tighten half way then remove.

Layer height: 0.2mm
Walls 0.8
Infill 20% (This may increase in newer versions)
Support: No

Raft and Brim not required (except for the bolts). I used the Skirt because my machine is tempermental.
