Summary

I wanted a silly container other than the clear plastic one that my dice came in when I bought them. Thought it'd be neat to have a it be a big Die itself. This is the result.

How I Designed This

Started with a cube, shelled at 3mm, put a hole in the top, added the threading, made the top meet the walls at an angle so supports weren't required, then added the numbering dots. Cap actually took multiple iterations trying to find the best way to grip and twist. First with a single slot for a coin, then a cross for aesthetic. Landed on not requiring an external tool to open/close the cap. Then finding the best depth and angle of slope so again supports wouldn't be 100% necessary. Carved out a little extra from the caps underside to reduce filament requirement and to shorten print time. Even if just a little.
