Creality K1 Max Extruder-Hotend Capricorn Tube Cutting Jig

Summary

Introduction

This small model lets you cut a piece of capricorn tube to the exact size required to fit between the extruder and hotend of K1/K1 Max printers. The slot in the model fits a regular utility knife blade.

The hole for the capricorn tubing does not require supports due to its "teardrop" shape. There is a small place on the bottom of the model that will require support. Manual support painting is recommended.

Printing

Ensure the back of the model is sitting against the bed, also paint manual support on the overhang on the bottom as shown in the image.

WORK IN PROGRESS

This is considered work in progress because I have only tested against my K1 Max. If you happen to print and use this model, please let me know if the result capricorn tube was of an acceptable length.
