Summary

Hueforge has been such an amazing tool and one of the things I truly love about Multicolor printing. It has this oldschool printer type of feel to it, but gives you this thick and beautiful work.

I absolutely love how these come out and plan on making many more after this one. But its a bit of a time consuming process. And each print still takes a long time even though it only needs to change filament a handful of times.

One of the key things I did for this print was to repeat colors on different layers. It means you have to change filament more often, but still no where near as crazy as a full 3D model. But the effect is mind blowing and I love it.

To get the color I got you will need to use the same fillament I did.

Polyterra - Matte Colors

Army Blue - The dark blue color. Gives it a reflective ink appearance.
Army Beige - The light tan color that make the top most layers.
Army Red - Just that right shade of red IMO. Not to bright.
Wood Brown - The bulk of the brown colors.

Please download the .3mf file.

Make sure the layer height is set to .08mm and the bottom layer is set to .2mm.

You wont see the colors until you slice the file as the colors are manually set to change at specific layer heights.
