Description
This is the SnapCollar, which can be perfectly combined with the SnapCuffs.
It features the same hinge and complaint-mechanism lock as the SnapCuffs, but features 2 printed rings to attach 2 cuffs to it.
I added the collar in a variety of sizes, as it needs to be printed precisely for your collar circumference.
Which size to use
Measure your collar circumference as described e.g. here in mm and take the larger size. If you need a custom size, just message me and I'll likely generate it for you.
How to print
- add support for the ring and the hook, the lock has integrated support
- Use PETG if possible, as it is less brittle
- I print with 40-50mm/s on CR10s Pro and full speed on P1P, but that depends on your printer
- light colors look much better IMO :)
- remove the small nibble in the lock with small pliers
- print the key and test it before applying the collar!

Post-Printing
After printing, remove the added support as well as the little nibble inside the triangular key opening.
If necessary, file the inside of the collar to be more comfortable to wear.
To activate the hinge, open and close (not completely) the collar a few times. It will get softer over time.
The lock is the part, that can vary greatly between printers and materials. I noticed, that PETG is much more forgiving and less brittle, so preferably use that material.
Try to close the collar gently for the first time, maybe wiggle the lock a bit to soften it a little before closing. Once the collar is closed, try to open it by pulling strongly. If it keeps close, then good job! If not, bend the lock a bit with a screwdriver, but be careful there with PLA.
This bending has to be done after some close cycles to keep its lock closed.
