Summary

The Semi Flex Clasp did not work out for me when I printed it with 95A TPU; even at 100% infill. Just seemed to flex too much when closed allowing the lid to lift slightly.

I remixed the original clasp to allow non compliant materials for use. My remix changed the top wrap around clamp to a simple slip on. Now the clasp can be printed with hard materials like PLA or PETG.

I then print my design with no top or bottom shells and Aligned infill in the 15-25% range. With no top or bottom shells the non compliant material is flexible enough to stretch and hold the lid tight.

I suggest PETG as it is more flexible than PLA but this clasp uses very little material, about 6 - 10 grams, so please experiment!
