Summary
The original was slightly too long. I also removed the bulge for the M3 screw which doesn't serve any purpose and makes printing more difficult. The photos show that I used soldering eyelets fasted by two nuts, rather than soldering directly to the screws (which is difficult both because of heat needed and because you damage the PLA print).
