已经有一段时间了，但这款模型花了我多年时间打造。我最初是从一个标准战甲、塑料板和绿色软垫开始，约15年前制作的40K型号的定制建模。这一设计灵感来自于一些自定义概念画面，所以我不声称拥有整体造型的创意（尽管它来源于单张绘图，因此我希望自己已经做到了它的正视）。

这个模型的比例大约比当时标准战甲大10%。由于我有十年没做过40K相关作品了，所以不知道现在是否还保持原来的比例。

I have broken this down into several groups. The torso (with head, but minus the side discs), the arms (with the side discs), the legs, and the weapons.

The weapon mounts and the forearms are made to hold 3mm magnets, which my need some slight drilling to sit perfect. I used rare earth magnets that I had left over from the old days of converting battlesuits. Some of the parts also have small pin holes to help hold them together and line them up to glue. The holes should match the diameter of your standard paperclip. If you are good enough not to need them, go for it, but the option is there.

The forarms are printed on an angle, and at first, that seemed the best way I could get it, though now it seems that nothing is as good as my first test print (which the gap needed to be widened by .2mm, or the weapon mounts would be too tight). The flat part they sit on breaks away nicely with standard PLA, but if I get it to print flat, I can resubmit them without that wasted material.
