Summary

Quick Release clamp Mega Pack

The QR clip is modular. The basic model needs 2x Sides, 1x Shaft and 1x Lock. It is possible to extend by adding one of each part (Side, Shaft, Lock).

Files

Important note: the files are not sorted. Pay attention to the sizes if you download individually!

There are stl files for tube diameters from 8 to 32 by 1 mm step. Each clamp requires 3 files: Side, Shaft, Lock.
File naming convention includes the tube diameter and screw size as follows:
QR_TubeAlig_[tube_diam]_[screw_size]_[part_model].stl

Installation

Tube diameters 8 - 11 use M3 screws.
For diameters 12 - 19 use M4 screws.
Above 20 mm diameter use M5 screws.

Images are self explanatory, written instructions below just in case:
The Lock and Shaft are held togehter between two Sides. One clamp can have multiple layers, each new layer having the Lock and Shaft between a new Side and an existing Side.

Usage

This clamp needs a firm grip otherwise it won't hold. The parts have a height of 3 mm, which makes the clamp compatible with an action camera mount.
For other applications, scale the height to print more robust parts. The mount has M5 screw hole.

Tested parts were printed with 0.4 nozzle.
