Summary

I have found this particular type of cable tie in a discarded PC unit and was blown away by its simple design, ease of use, small volume and small amount of material that would be needed to print.
I previously had some store-bought cable holders and once you closed them they were almost impossible to untie. This you can simply twist one way to close, other way to open and with just 2 fingers.
I designed this from scratch to resemble that twist tie, but up-scaled it, thickened the tie as it goes from top to bottom and made it in 2 parts, the tie and the base, with 4 x 3.5mm screw-holes (editable in Fusion360 project file; hole is 30mm -height; 35mm -width) so that they will each print in the orientation that gives them the most strength. Then they are fitted together and won't come apart. Your fingers will break before pulling it apart (you have been warned)!

    Up the wall count until the tie piece has no infill. That way only the base will have an infill.
    If printing each piece separately, the base has an infill and 3 walls.

    Filament usage per whole piece (tie+base combo) should come under 6g.

    (This model can be used for layer adhesion tests)
