Summary
The hinge on my Jaybird Vista 2 headphones broke (again) and supergluing the original hinge back together did not work for more than 2-3 openings.
I designed this to replace the hinge, so the original hinge needs to be completely broken/cut off because this one hinges a few mm behind the original.
This does not affect the ability to wirelessly charge as it doesn't go past the bottom of the hinge.
Mine is currently held on with Museum putty (like really sticky sticky-tack) because I was testing it before glueing, but the tack is holding, so I'll stick with it until I need to glue it.
The hinge works with a piece of 1.75mm filament threaded through the holes.
