Summary

Super compact and neat Bowden Tube Clamp upgrade (for E-stepper end clamp). Designed to fix the common problem of PTFE Bowden tube moving in the connector (which was not originally designed for 3D printing) - causing unwanted stringing and other issues.

If you want to see /doubt how well it clamps the tube as a test try clipping it onto the tube away from the connector and try sliding it along the tube! Notice the two rows of teeth inside the collar that clamps the tube. The lower part of the clamp clips over the end of the connector providing additional support compared to other clamps that just clip onto the locking ring. Connector nut is still accessible.

Overall the design is super compact, strong and neat. Only needs around 15 mins print time and 1 gram of material. I used grey PLA+

Slicer settings: need to enable supports (conventional) and use 100% infill for maximum strength and stability of the collar. 0.2mm layer height. Make sure the minimum layer time is at least 10s as small parts like this may warp if there is not enough time for one layer to cool properly before the next layer is printed.

Post printing: check the slot the slot where the locking ring goes is clear of any excess material.
