Summary

The Roly Lasermatic MK2 diode laser has an opening in the bottom to allow larger items to be engraved. I made these risers to position the MK2 higher so that larger objects could be placed under the machine. The included small shim can be used to prevent scratches on the legs. This model raises the laser 75mm, but the original F360 file is included with user parameters allowing for easy modification of all dimensions.

Parts required:
M3 - 12mm socket head cap screws (4)
M3 threaded brass inserts (4) Check the required hole diameter. Not all inserts are the same.

The shim can be secured with just a spot of CA on the upper edge, but it is not necessary. The knob has molded M3 threads but you might need to chase them with a tap. Tightly screw the M3 bolt all the way into the knob and it should be OK, but a drop of CA can be used if needed. I've used similar knobs on many other projects and have never needed to use glue.
