We have customized the Raspberry Pi Zero series to supply power without connecting a micro USB cable. Just insert it into a USB 5V power supply like a stick PC.

The USB-A connector section is mounted on a universal board cut out to 10 by 6 (8 by 4 inner) and The hole next to the connector can be extended with a 3.2mm drill to mount it directly in the case.
