Summary

Minimal additions to eric_csuf's original Painter Pole Female End.

This is intended to be used like a "library" for other designs.

This scad supports 2 parameters:

Wall thickness for the female end. Default STL was 0.5mm wall thickness. The scad has default set to 1.5mm. You can override this.
Bottom of the socket to be filled vs hollow. To fill it, you customize the thickness of that plank.

NOTE: thingiverse's Customize button does not seem to do import STLs as components. You must use OpenSCAD if you wish to tweak dimensions.

Fairly simple. Open the scad file and the "Painters_Pole_Female_End_v3_repaired.stl" in the same folder and edit the variables at the top of the scad file, then export the STL.

I also included some default output samples.

thread_padding_hollow.stl is the default scad output with no bottom filled.
thread_padding_3mm_bottom_solid.stl is the default scad output, but with the bottom filled for 3mm thick plank.
