Summary
I have tried other gadgets like this and they all work well, but I found that most of them consist of a clip type device that you push the wire into. These are okay, but I find that they squeeze the wire slightly and if you are like me, they are no good if you have multiple thicknesses of wires.
This design solves the problem by having a gap wide enough for you thickest wire but not the plug on the end, so the wire will happily just sit there.
I tried printing this as a 1-piece model but found I couldn’t remove the supports, so I made the holder in 2 parts to eliminate this problem.
