Summary
This university project involves the creation of 4 monochromatic black cut vinyls for a hypothetical new FabLab center. The areas to implement the design are: 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and CNC machinery.
In the repository, you will find the mockup files, the building plan, and the .csv files in black and color for the different areas (separated into compressed files).
How I Designed This
1- Building design
With the HomeByMe tool, I've designed the building and taken the dimensions for creating the vinyls for the different areas of the FabLab.
2- Vinyl cutting materials and examples
Research on vinyl cutting and materials that can be used (print and cut, cut only, fluorescent, for exterior or interior, glossy or matte, etc.).
3- Vector design
With Adobe Illustrator software, I have designed vector elements for each of the areas.
