Summary

This is a diffuser to suit the Tamiya XJR12 Group C RC vehicle. The diffuser is designed to mount using a single M4 screw to the rear gearbox and is also designed around having the gearbox in the lowest position (ie. highest ride height), this was because I wanted the maximum clearance for the chassis to prevent scratches from the racing surface and reduce the risk of damage to the diffuser. This part was designed to add to the scale look of the vehicle and is not designed for anybody who seriously races their car.

There are mounting points to add tubes (around 6 - 6.6mm) as scale exhausts with provision for a M3 grub screw to hold the exhaust tube in place.

The width of the walls was designed around the use of a 0.4 nozzle and a 0.2mm layer height should provide good results. I would suggest orienting the model with the under surface of the diffuser towards the top to give you the best surface finish as supports will be required to print this model.
