Hello!

I made a spool roller for the E3v3SE because the stock spool holder tugs on the spool way too much which is potentially bad for the extruder.

Designed a shaft with a single threaded end to fix it from the back with two bearings to hold the spool.

Included the step files as well if you want to tweak the design as per your printer tolerances. The bearings should be good enough for a standard spool size. I recommend loosening the bearing a bit in post processing by spinning it a few times before use.

You can pair this with your filament guide of choice :)

{Don't use tree supports for the bearings as they will be very difficult to remove and keep the “On build plate only” option ON}

Post-Printing

Bearing support removal

By keeping the support only on build plate option, you only have to remove the support on the bottom of the bearings.

Also free the bearing by spinning it a few times

Assembly

Mount the shaft by replacing the stock one and screwing the cap on the back to the threaded end.
Mount the first bearing and push it towards the end, the tolerances could be tight so feel free to force it if needed.
Mount the spool to the shaft with the bearing, after which insert the second bearing and push it as much as you can.
Place the top cap on the shaft and you're done :)
