MG42 Visier „Kimme“

Das Visier besteht aus mehreren Teilen und wird zusammengesteckt bzw. verklebt. Der Maßstab ist 1:1.

Nach langer Recherche habe ich festgestellt, dass es für das Original wohl je nach Herstellungsjahr vielfältige Varianten gab.
Ich habe mich bei dem Modell für diese Variante entschieden.

Das Modell habe ich etwas vereinfacht entworfen und entspricht nicht zu 100% dem Original.
Allerdings denke ich, dass es wesentlich besser aussieht, als alles andere, was man derzeit hier zur Verfügung hat.

Ich habe alle Teile in mit meinem Anycubic „Photon Ultra“ gefertigt.
Supports sind lediglich bei der Schiene mit der Skala nötig, da diese anfangs nur eine geringe Haftfläche hat.

Einige Ecken müsst ihr durch Abschleifen noch manuell abrunden. So zum Beispiel bei der Kimme.

Die beweglichen Achsen zur Verbindung der Teile könnt ihr bitte selbst mit entsprechendem Durchmesser selbst fertigen. Ich persönlich habe vorne einen Zahnstocher und hinten einen Messingdraht genommen.

MG42 rear sight

The sight consists of several parts and is plugged or glued together. The scale is 1:1.

After a lot of research, I discovered that there were many different versions of the original, depending on the year of manufacture.
I opted for this version for the model.

I designed the model somewhat simplified and it does not correspond 100% to the original.
However, I think it looks much better than anything else currently available here.

I made all the parts with my Anycubic "Photon Ultra".
Supports are only necessary for the rail with the scale, as this only has a small adhesive surface to begin with.

You will have to manually round off some corners by sanding. This applies to the rear sight, for example.

You can make the movable axles for connecting the parts yourself with the appropriate diameter. I personally used a toothpick at the front and a brass wire at the back.
