Summary
Before mounting on printer there should be inserted 4 M3 threaded inserts into "adapter" part.
Because of extended ending of "adapter" part there is slightly less move on Y-axis, so before printing big parts make shure to change max Y travel in settings and slicer.
"adapter" part has thick wall on the other side of hotend mount to mount BLTouch in future updates.
Between hotend and DualDrive there is short PTFE tube to ensure that filament won't be bent during print.
Direct drive project uses mostly old parts, but there are a few new ones:
- 4 x ISO 7380 M3x10 screws to mount adapter part to carier
- 4 x DIN 7991 M3x10 screws to mount custom extruder holder to adapter
- 4 x DIN 125-1 M3 washers for ISO 7380 screws
apart from that there should be soldered or bought extensions for extruder motor and filament runout sensor wiring.
in future parts will be updated with BLtouch mount and wiring mount
