Summary

I'm building my Airbus-style home cockpit. Not a real big one (don't have the space, time or money), but more a mobile one, consisting of 3 blocks with wooden cases which can be fixed on the desk table or can stand on the floor.

A Tiller is a special handle (normally only on the pilots side) to steer the plane on the ground during taxing.
With the pedals (and the rudder) it makes only +/- 7°, with the tiller you can make approx. +/- 75°.

I remixed the design a little as i want to mount it in a small wooden box like shown in the picture "Tiller mounted with Joystick.jpg", where i can mount the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition as well.
With a spare clamp from an old Saitek Thrust Lever Block it will be fixed on the table plate as shown in "Tiller with Joystick.jpg".

As the original thing is not for free, i cannot publish all parts, nut only the files I changed by myself, shown in blue in the picture.
But i can asure the thing (especially the handle) is worth every buck....

Instead of a hard to find spring i'm using a normal rubberband. It's working fine.

Additionally I created a frontplate and PCB-Holder to be mounted in the wooden housing for connecting the Arduino Micro to the PC, acting as a nomal joystick. The PCB, holding the Arduino Pro Micro is 40x38 mm, see "14 USB-Connector.stl".

The hook on the right back - "15 Plateholder.stl" - is only to compensate some forces from the clamp.

Wooden Housing
The box for the tiller is 150 x 150 x 90mm of 12mm thick chipboard, where the left wall has the opening for the USB-Connector.
The top plate is a 4mm thick plywood, of course also 150 x 150mm
The base plate has 370 x 210 x 12mm chibboard.
All the wooden parts were painted in silver gray (RAL 7001).

The analog potentiometer has to be matched to "Rudder" in FSX (or other Flightsimulator), the button can only be connected via FSUIPC, but i haven't tested it yet. But at least it is already there...
If someone found out how to use this button correctly, pls. let me know.
