This is further development for Anycubic 4MaxPro aftermarket hotend and extruders option. this version is for Mellow NF Smart V6 hotend and BMG extruders
Post-Printing
Assembly Tips
-
install all the 3D printed parts on the factory printhead carriage.

Insert PTFE tube into the heatsink, the length how much you cut the tube try making the tube slightly over the J Head mount, around 2mm

Assemble the heatsink directly to the BMG extruders body/housing. BMG extruders usually come with J Head insert with PTFE tube coupler for bowden setup, pull out those inserts replace with the heatsink instead
side note : it requires a bit hand trick to make the PTFE tube aligned with the extruders filament hole. if you cut PTFE tube that its surface exactly same as the heatsink J Head there will be a little play when filament is extruding and retracting (potential clog) -
Slide all the way down the assembled extruder+hotend until the throat and threaded area is under the heatsink duct parts. make sure the bottom surface of first fins of the heatsink is aligned with the flat bottom surface of the heatsink duct parts. if not maybe your printed heatsink duct parts is elephant foot.

screw the BMG with the stepper motor on the back of the extruder and the main mounting (its like sandwich, the mounting plate is at the middle between BMG extruders and stepper motor)

install the ribbon cable terminal mounting with bolt length that not more than same as the one come with BMG extruders

install heatblock and nozzle from the bottom

put nozzle to the heatblock first, but leave a milimeters distance, don't screw nozzle all the way

screw in the heatblock to the heatbreak/throat thread all the way until the heatbreak/throat thread is contact with nozzle.

install thermistor and heater.
- torque again while hotend is heated to 250C by holding the block with some kind of pliers on one of your hand then your other hand to wrench the nozzles. don't over torque too much
