Summary

The Sofirn HS20 comes with a decent rubber mount with non-removable elastic head straps. I prefer my headlamps mounted to a cap, so I designed a mount that I could zip-tie to a curved cap brim.

I've included two STL versions. The curved version follows the contour of a cap brim and requires supports to print. The flat base version is included for whatever other purpose you may find.

I went through quite a few versions to end up with a design that held the headlamp firmly without snapping the mounting clips. If the clips snap on you, I recommend re-printing and then lightly sanding down some of the material at the top of the clips.

You will need four very small zip ties to mount the print to a had brim, as pictured. The headtorch is quite heavy, so I'd recommend mounting it a bit further back than I have.

The headlamp can get quite hot, so I don't expect PLA would survive without melting. No issues with PETG so far.
