Summary

I normally only ride my Burgman (model l0 year 2011) in the immediate vicinity. Only occasionally do I need navigation. The last time I tried it, I attached the smartphone to the handlebars with a Velcro strap. The position was too flat and the display was very reflective.
Recently, I was planning a longer route and navigation was essential. As I had an ender 3 V2 from a colleague at my disposal, an adapter was printed overnight that allowed me to attach the universal cradle from my bike to my scooter.

  • The universal smartphone holder is screwed onto the profile.
  • The holder is attached to the front of the steering wheel cover.
  • At the back, the holder is clamped to the fairing with an m6 thread and a mauly paper clip.

It worked very well for the trip we took. the phone was held firmly in place.

Ideas for improvement for those who want to rebuild:

  • adapt the front profile to the arrow shape of the fairing
  • no longer attach the rear fastening centrally because the paper clamp unlocks the central clip on the plastic cover.
  • also replace the universal holder with a 3d pressure part
  • the velcro tape is not necessary for this holder and does not need to be provided
  • replace pla filiament with uv-resistant and stable material
