Summary

This is a series of modular boxes and holders for epic scale minis.

There are 3 different sized tray holders, though the smallest (top.stl) has no actual place outside of a possible lid. The tray_holder.stl is for the regular size units (tanks, transports, walkers, and infantry) while the tray_holder_tall is designed for larger units (knights and war hounds) and the div_tray as once it is in place you cannot use the hinge/lock system.

tank_tray_A is designed to hold 2 Kratos Tanks, 3 Predators, and 4 Leman Russ tanks with no additional storage
tank_tray_B is designed to hold 4 Sicarans and 2 Malcador tanks with 3 open slots that can be used for turret storage
tank_tray_C is designed to hold 9 Rhinos and has 3 smaller additional open slots
warhound_tray is designed to hold a model on the same size base of the War Hound from LI and AT; roughly an 80mm base. There are two small compartments as well that can hold option weapons.
div_tray is a 6 compartment tray for miscellaneous items. I use it for different turrets for my various tanks
25mm_x16_tray holds 16 individual stands of units on the 25mm bases. You can put the required detachments for a Demi-Company or Sub-Cohort in one tray and have additional spots for 2-3 more units.
knight_tray is designed to hold 4 LI or AT size knights on 40mm bases

hingeArm, hingeCap, and KeyPeg are only if you want the trays to be connected in a manner to open/store the boxes together. I would also suggest the Tray_Lock_Set to be used with the hinges, though both the hinges and locks are works in progress.

I have ensured all files are fully manifold, so there should be no errors in them, but no promises.

Post-Printing

Remove supports if used. If using the hinge system, use the side with three holes horizontal and not the side with two vertical holes.Before starting, place the two boxes to be connected in line with each other with the same sides facing each other (e.g. the sides with the two vertical holes are facing each other). Super glue the hingeCap to the keyed side of the KeyPeg and insert it into one of the outer holes (the center hole is currently not used; use the hole closest to the other box) ensuring the hingeCap is on the inside of the box. Super glue the round end of the KeyPeg into one of the recessed holes on the ends of the hingeArm. Super glue another hingeCap to the keyed side of another KeyPeg and insert it into the next box from the inside on the end closest to the current KeyPeg. Super glue the new KeyPeg into the other recessed hole of the hingeArm. Repeat this on the other side. (Please see the pictures for full example.) Once both hinge arms are in place, the two boxes should be able to stack onto each other.

How I Designed This

Modeled in Blender. All measurements were done via a digital caliper. Sliced in Cura 5 at above settings. Note on supports: I used trees for the upper holes, though it was designed in a manner that supports are not required.
