Summary
It is a small project I initially did for one my own sewing machines (model is Brother Charger 666) when the original thread spool holder finally broke after 50+ years of use.
To replace the part you have to remove the top case lid held in place by two screws. I reinforced the bottom of the holder (made thicker + rib) to accommodate for difference in materials, all other dimensions are as close to the original ones as possible. Place it on the printer bed normally, infill can be higher if you prefer, just don't go under 25% to keep the part sturdy enough.
