Summary
I've adapted the non-functional original to allow for better and easier printing as well as thickened the tube for the battery end so that it doesn't snap on insertion. The flat base allows printing without supports and adds strength to the body of the adapter.
I've made the battery end a diameter of 6mm to suit my battery port. There is plenty of meat there now so you can take off some material to allow for a smaller battery vent hole if needed.
Don't forget to print in ABS as it is very resistant to hydrochloric acid.
