Summary
This is a keyboard case for the Surface Duo designed to fit the TECHGEAR Active Strike (M) Slim Bluetooth keyboard.
The Surface Duo fits either horizontally or vertically. The screen of the Surface Duo does not get covered/overlapped at all, making it ideal for working with both displays.
The Surface Duo is angled at 110⁰, making it both versatile and comfortable for use on a desk or a lap.
Print Settings
- Printer:
CTC Bizer Dual (MakerBot Replicator Dual clone)
- Rafts:No
- Supports:No
- Resolution:0.2mm
- Infill:60% Hexagonal, 0.2mm layer height
- Filament brand:
Enotepad
- Filament color:
White
- Filament material:
PLA+
- Notes:
4 shell layers. Best to print on its side (see image). You may need to lower the bed temperature or the base may slightly disform.
I used approximately 50g of PLA+ for this print.
Post-Printing
Step 1
Remove from print bed (ensure it has cooled down to avoid warping)
Step 2
Place base of keyboard into bottom clip
Step 3
Clip the case onto the top of the keyboard. This may take a little effort.
Step 4
Place Surface Duo (either vertically or horizontally) into base.
NOTE: If using vertically, ensure the device buttons are at the top! No difference using it horizontally.
