Summary

The is an enclosure for a raspberry pi or similar micro-computer. It is part of a series of seven designs that form a modular enclosure system. The aim is to provide a printable enclosure that is adaptable allowing to the maker to focus on designing their project rather than the enclosure.

This enclosure is 173x190x52mm

with an internal cage that is 152x152x33mm

Spacers to hold the cage in place are require that can be created from plastic M4 or M6 bolts with two nuts or another improvisation.

It is marked as a work in progress because I have not been able to 3D print a test of this version. An earlier different variant was printed and the parts fitted together without problems.

If nothing else is could be converted to tabletop gaming scenery :)

How I Designed This

The inspiration for this project was sawing up plastic food container boxes to make an adaptable system to aid prototyping and design of Raspberry Pi electronic projects. This took a long time to the detriment of time spent on the actual electronic project. As such I decided to try and design a modular system that is adaptable and could help people focus on their project.
